About me...

My love for travel began when my class went to Paris for three weeks in 5th grade and I stayed with my pen-pal, Vanessa (pictured to the right).  A few weeks later, her class came to Michigan and she stayed with my family.... and the rest is history.  She is still one of my closest friends and I travel to Paris to see her at least once a year (along with my kids who consider her kids their cousins, my husband who is now great friends with her husband, sometimes my parents who love her parents, and also to see her youngest daughter, my god-daughter, who is just 2!)

Besides Paris, I love all things France (Provence, Bordeaux, Loire Valley, etc). But also Italy, Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Switzerland & Croatia.  The two most life changing trips I've been on are South Africa and New Zealand and I can not wait to return!

I love sightseeing, but I also love a good beach!  I've been going to Mexico since I could walk and think it is the best investment for a beautiful beach and a good time!  But there are some truly spectacular places in the Caribbean that are not to be missed-- my current favorite is Anguilla!  But there is one that fits everyone's needs!

When I'm not traveling, you'll find me at home in Dallas with my amazing husband and sweet dog (Honor), but likely on the phone with one of my twins (Ella & Ryan) who are now in college. Ella is attending St. Andrews in Scotland (so I'm now an expert there) and Ryan is at University of Michigan (my home state!). Very proud of them and we miss them so much, but this awesome job has kept me busy and we get to see them a lot!
